Danut Pasaniuc - Photographer

Born in Constanta, Romania, in 1988, I discovered my passion for photography in 2014 with a Nikon DSLR owned by my boss. At the time, I was working on the beach and found myself captivated by the beauty of the sunrises each morning. I began borrowing the camera regularly, experimenting with different angles and compositions, and gradually developing a keen eye for landscape photography. What started as a simple hobby quickly grew into a profound passion.

Recognizing my growing interest and developing skill in photography, my boss encouraged me to take on additional responsibilities. He invited me to photograph the various events hosted on weekends, including salsa and bachata nights, DJ performances, live concerts, and rugby matches. This opportunity allowed me to expand my repertoire and gain valuable experience in event photography. The vibrant energy and dynamic atmosphere of these events were both challenging and exhilarating to capture, and I relished the opportunity to document these moments.

In 2016, when I moved to England, I acquired my first personal DSLR camera, a Nikon D3300. With this new tool, I began shooting a variety of events, including birthday parties, baby showers, and christening ceremonies. These experiences broadened my skills and allowed me to capture intimate and joyous moments for my clients.

As I honed my craft, my role transitioned into a full-time photographer. My work was well-received, and I became known for my ability to capture the essence and energy of each occasion. This period was instrumental in shaping my skills and defining my style as a photographer. I learned to anticipate moments, work with varying lighting conditions, and bring out the best in my subjects, whether they were performers, athletes, or the stunning landscapes of Constanta.

Photography, for me, is more than just a profession—it's a way of seeing and experiencing the world. It allows me to capture and share the beauty and complexity of the world around us. Each photograph is an opportunity to preserve a moment in time, to tell a story, and to connect with others through visual storytelling. I am constantly inspired by the challenge of conveying emotion and narrative through my lens, whether it’s the serene beauty of a landscape or the vibrant energy of a live event.

My journey from taking casual snapshots on the beach to becoming a full-time photographer reflects my deep commitment to this art form. I am passionate about continuing to grow and evolve as a photographer, always seeking new ways to capture the world around me. I am driven by a desire to explore new techniques, embrace innovative technologies, and push the boundaries of my creativity. Whether I am shooting a tranquil sunrise, a lively dance event, an intense rugby match, or a dramatic concert performance, I strive to create images that resonate with viewers and evoke a sense of connection and wonder.

In the future, I hope to expand my portfolio further, exploring new genres of photography and collaborating with other artists and creatives. My ultimate goal is to continue to create impactful and memorable images that inspire and captivate audiences.
